Founded on a single idea: disputes deserve better
Jireh Law LLC was founded by Joshua Tong to do disputes work differently. After years in an established firm having gained valuable trial experience, he strongly believed that there was space to reimagine the law firm of the future and its possibilities in the advent of new technology and the need to change a culture which was infamous for discouraging young lawyers from having lasting careers.
"Jireh", pronounced ("JAI-RE") is a Hebrew word carrying the meaning of to see and perceive. That falls squarely with what we do for our clients. We see and perceive the issues they face, we propose solutions, and we bring them through the storm with a steady hand along with transparent costs.
We are focused on delivering fiercely pragmatic and results-driven litigation for both businesses and individuals.

Joshua Tong
Joshua is a disputes-focused lawyer with substantial experience in the following areas of contentious work:
Litigation:
- Primarily specialize in complex commercial disputes, especially for issues arising out of family businesses or assets in family-owned business interests. Regularly appearing in the Supreme Court and State Courts of Singapore.
- Regularly manage matters end-to- end, including pre-trial strategy, discovery applications, urgent injunctions, and full trials.
Arbitration:
- Experience in Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) arbitrations, handling complex commercial disputes through arbitration processes.
Criminal Defence:
- Substantial trial experience as a defence lawyer, notably having completed a 46-day white collar criminal trial.
- Conducted numerous Magistrate's Appeals in the High Court.
- Experienced also internal regulatory investigations, preparing urgent reports for board members.
